Job Title: Anesthesia Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience preferred - Charting experience in a clinical setting Description: BLOCK 1ST TIMER - Anesthesia Tech. Position will float between units. On-call required for nights and weekends. Weekends are required on call. Block schedules are required. Expected ratios are 1:1. Special requirements include certification and competencies in anesthesia technology. This is a short-term acute care facility. Total staff beds are 536. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams and rapid response teams. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly for inquiries. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bills for reimbursement if required for the assignment. All requests for time off or specific scheduling must be made upfront during submittal. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract.
