  • Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents
  • Perform move-in, move-out, and pre-inspection repairs
  • Repair toilets, faucets, drains, fixtures, doors, locks, outlets, switches, lighting, walls, and appliances within appropriate safety limits
  • Conduct preventive maintenance throughout apartments, common areas, and property systems
  • Update work orders with accurate notes, photographs, materials used, and follow-up needs
  • Communicate with residents regarding access, repair status, delays, and next steps
  • Escalate repairs requiring additional approval, specialized equipment, or a licensed contractor
  • Assist with grounds, trash removal, seasonal upkeep, and snow removal
  • Maintain tools, inventory, supplies, and maintenance areas
  • Travel to another nearby community when occasional assistance or coverage is required
  • Follow all safety, fair-housing, and resident-service requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting affordable or tax-credit housing
